F-Cut laser cutter

The F-Cut is a compact solution for cutting organic materials such as plywood, plastics and laminates, etc. The precision of the CO₂ laser used allows for precise slits in the plywood, which allows the use of this machine for the production of printing dies. It is intended for plants with limited production space.

Ideal beam parameters

The best effects of CO₂ laser beam cutting require a steady gap between the laser head and the workpiece surface. Therefore, the number of optical elements in the F-Cut cutter has been limited to a minimum, so that the losses resulting from the reflection of the laser beam are practically zero, and the entire energy generated by the resonator is focused on the cutting path, thanks to which we obtain excellent quality of the cut details.

Ergonomics

The laser resonator was placed on a solid, steel gate driven by precise, backlash-free ball screws in a tandem configuration. The steel, annealed structure has a table lined with fireclay bricks, thanks to which its cleaning is very simple, and the machine gains additional stabilization during operation.

Simple optics setup

The optical path only consists of a laser source, one mirror and a lens, making alignment of the optical path very easy. The cutting head developed by Uni-kat engineers is adapted to handle 4 and 5-inch focusing lenses and to conveniently replace and calibrate them, ensuring always excellent cutting quality.

Specialized control

The control of the device has been specially prepared for cutting dies. The machine has a 4-way speed and distance correction. The work is additionally facilitated by the system of automatic selection of parameters, based on the type of line, and the ability to upload files in most industry formats, such as CF2, PLT or DXF.
